Convened by partners:

The Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship, Saïd Business School, University of Oxford

The Institute for Social Entrepreneurship, School of Management, Zhejiang University

Together the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and the Institute for Social Entrepreneurship at the School of Management at Zhejiang University are issuing a call for papers for an important research conference next May.

The aim is to unpack the way social entrepreneurship plays out in transitional and developing countries.

As such, this conference offers three distinctive opportunities in addition to the occasion to listen to and discuss the presentation of discrete papers:

It has the potential to play an important role in evolving the research agenda for social entrepreneurship and influencing the emergence of this new field;
Contributions are encouraged from scholars whose research interests are closely related to social entrepreneurship, may not have directly identified with the field to date but who are interested in formulating their research from this perspective;
It also represents an excellent opportunity to meet a growing number of international scholars and increase levels of co-ordination.
