Winfried W. Weber : Mannheim University of Applied Sciences

Professor Winfried W. Weber is Professor of Management and Social Entrepreneurship at Mannheim University of Applied Sciences. He teaches Management, Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Winfried is also busy starting with his students new social enterprises at the Rhine/Neckar area. Winfried earned his PhD in Management/Economics with a specialization in Innovation from University of Witten-Herdecke and publishes in management journals. He worked as an entrepreneur, consultant, training manager, health care manager and social worker. His current research focuses on nonprofit-management, social entrepreneurship, innovation, Toyota production system and management thinkers. Winfried is the author of numerous books. His recent book “Innovation durch Injunktion” analyses the influence of management thinkers on managers. Winfried sees the injunctions of his former boss Tom Peters as an example of management innovation.
