I have developed and taught several MA courses at Charles University in Prague where I recently obtained PhD in Public and Social Policy. Alibeth SomersAlibeth Somers is a Senior Lecturer and Associate Course Director of the MPA Programme at London South Bank University. Alibeth teaches mid to senior level managers in the public and nonprofit sectors, specialising in public policy, research methods, and performance measurement. Alibeth has a BA in Political Science and Women's Studies from Barnard College, Columbia University, an MPA from the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, New York University, and is nearing completion of her doctoral work in Politics at Goldsmiths College, University of London. The doctoral research explores New Labour's role in social enterprise development in the UK. Her research interests include the intersection of states and social entrepreneurship, impact measurement and local economic and community development. Alibeth previously worked in the Policy Coordination Team for the UN's Economic and Social Council within the Department of Economic and Social Affiars, the City of New York, the City of Miami Beach, Peace Corps Romania Country Programme, JPMorganChase, and Social Enterprise London. Alibeth has also been an external consultant for the New Economics Foundation, where she co-authored several publications on impact measurement. Ian SnaithIan is a Senior Lecturer in Law at Leicester University. He also works as a consultant with Cobbetts Solicitors of Manchester. He specialises in work on legal structures for co-operatives and other social enterprises and in aspects of corporate governance. Winfried W.
